Site Settings

Site Settings access controls for collaborators and transfer ownership

Use Site Settings for one selected project

Site Settings belongs to the selected site. Account profile dates, account-wide MCP connections, and the combined Billed Sites view live in Account Settings instead. Confirm the site name before changing access, billing, domains, or email delivery.

Follow the current settings map

Collaborators

The site owner can invite people by email as Administrators. Administrators have full control over content and publishing, but billing and site deletion remain owner-only. The list distinguishes Pending invitations from Active collaborators; only the owner can remove them.

Transfer ownership

Only the current owner can transfer a site. Transfer is available only before a custom domain is attached and while no billing is attached, and the new owner must already have a Luna Sites account. Remove domain and billing blockers before entering the new owner’s email.

Subscription and domains

Subscription shows the site’s current plan, status, period, and owner-only plan actions. Luna Sites Domain is the included address. Custom Domains is also owner-only and currently requires Pro.

Email / SMTP

Email / SMTP stores the selected site’s sender and provider credentials for confirmation emails after form submissions. The current control is owner-only and requires Pro. Keep secrets in these protected fields, never in public page content.

Use high-impact controls carefully

Removing a collaborator stops their site access. Transferring ownership changes who controls billing, domains, invitations, and deletion. Removing a domain releases it. Cancelling billing changes access at the end of the paid period. Confirm the site and recovery plan before each action.

Responsive and accessible use

Settings panels stay in a vertical flow. Invite and transfer forms switch from horizontal controls to stacked inputs and buttons on smaller screens, while plan options and domain details reflow or scroll when needed.

Use the field labels and text status badges. Move through invitations, transfer, plan, domain, and SMTP controls with Tab, keep focus visible, and read confirmation or error messages before retrying.

Common mistakes checklist

• Do not look for account-wide profile or MCP controls here.

• Do not assume an Administrator can manage billing, domains, or site deletion.

• Resolve custom-domain and billing blockers before ownership transfer.

• Never place SMTP credentials in page content or screenshots.
